The Sudan national football team represents Sudan in international football. Sudan is one of the oldest football nations in Africa and was a founding member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The team won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1970 and has qualified for the tournament several times, playing a key role in the early development of African football.
