Al Hilal is a storied football club based in Omdurman, Sudan, founded on 13 February 1930. One of Sudan’s most successful and popular teams, it competes in the Sudan Premier League and has claimed a record number of national league titles, alongside numerous Sudan Cup triumphs. The club is traditionally associated with bold blue (often paired with white) and plays its home matches at the A Hilal Stadium; nicknamed "The Blue Jewel." On the continental stage Al Hilal has enjoyed several deep runs in CAF competitions, finishing as runners-up in the African Cup (CAF Champions League) on multiple occasions and regularly representing Sudan in regional tournaments. With a passionate fan base and a long history of domestic dominance, the club remains a central figure in Sudanese football culture.
