Milan is an Italian professional football club located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy that was founded on 13 December 1899 as a football and cricket club by a group of people from that included Herbert Kilpin, an English footballer who served as the club’s first captain. The club currently plays in Serie A, the top-tier league in the Italian football league system. Milan is one of the most successful Italian clubs in both domestic and European football.
