Wolverhampton Wanderers is an English professional football club located in Wolverhampton, England. Founded in 1877 under the name of St. Luke's FC by John Baynton and John Brodie, the club later merged with fellow local club Blakenhall Wanderers to form Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 1879. The club currently plays in the Premier League, the top-tier league in England.
