Pyramids is an Egyptian professional football club located in Cairo. Originally, the club was founded under the name of Al Assiouty Sport in early 2008 in Beni Suef, before changing to the current name on 27 June 2018 following the acquisition of the club by Turki Al Sheikh of Saudi Arabia. The club currently plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the top-tier league in the country. Pyramids became one of the power-horses in Egyptian and African football since the club’s first season, and began to earn supporters gradually since then.
